Background:

Kingston was born on the 23^rd of December to the British Viscount Kingston Wendleworth II and Viviane Mills, the daughter of a Viscount. It had been a cold winter night the day he was born, his mother and father not very excited about his birth. To prove this, the moment he was born, his mother had dumped him onto his nurse Elsa, who from there on acted as his second mother through the rest of his life.

His parents left him at one of his father’s estate, while his mother roamed around the country, having scandalous relationships and his father gambling away and drinking as if there had been no tomorrow. So, Kingston spent his life as an only child surrounded by numerous nurses, servants and tutors. At the age of four, his mother decided to leave his father, just not leave the wedlock. Kingston being so small and not comprehending what that meant, he went to his father’s study. His father who had been drunk that night and pissed off beyond belief, had grabbed the child by the neck and smashed the glass he was holding against his neck.

From now till this day, Kingston has a very visible scar on his neck. He doesn’t tell anyone what had really happened, but instead say that he had a qudditch accident, causing him to never ride a broom in his life. Ever.

As he was alone in a very large house at the age of five Kingston began to explore it. He had found a room so extraordinary, that till this day it is considered to be one of his favorite rooms. The Library.

From there on the boy began to read each and every day, learning new words and new meanings to many things. And by the age of six, Kingston was able to read words some of his nurses couldn’t even pronounce. His tutors acknowledged the boy as a fast learner. By the age of seven, Kingston had mastered two languages, French and Latin.

By the age of seven, his parents had decided together that the boy needed a skill other than linguistics. He needed a talent. And with that, they began to bring him musical instruments. Kingston had tried to play with the violin, but he had trouble holding it, so that had been pushed in the corner. They had got him a flute, which he had absolutely despised from the moment he looked at it. Shortly, after only some days, they had got him the piano and with one look, he knew that it was meant to be.

From then on the boy began to play every single day, determined to improve himself. By the age of nine, Kingston began to play the piano with no sheets as he now knew all of them by heart. He had begun composing his own music by the age of ten and then by the age of eleven, he was forced to attend Durmstrang Academy. He had been quite content on studying in his house, alone and secluded from people, but his father was determined to use Kingston as a way to get to some of the businessmen that had sons there.

Of course, Kingston had no interest in making friends while he attended. His only interest was reading what the Durmstrang Academy library had and trying to compose his own music with no piano in his hand. Thus, at the age of thirteen, Kingston began to imagine playing his piano and imagining how each and every note sounded like.

As he neared the age of fourteen, his father decided to have him transferred to Hogwarts as a suggestion made by Andrei Vannacutt. Kingston had no choice but to obey his father’s orders and follow in the steps of his friend and somewhat mentor, Nikolai Vannacutt, who had just graduated from Durmstrang. Annoyed with his father’s decision for him, Kingston decided that he should keep on doing what he used to do in Durmstrang at Hogwarts.

On his first year he met Lindsey Hamilton. An awkward girl, he had decided from first sight. Lindsey in fact, was the very opposite of Kingston. She loved the outdoors, loved to make so much noise and also enjoyed to have fun, a think Kingston did not know. On his very first year at Hogwarts, he had a very strange encounter with Miss Hamilton. How? Well, he had experienced his first kiss ever with her, which oddly ended in him running into the bathroom and retching.

After that, they had stayed friends by her wishes, as she believed that Kingston really needed a friend to talk to, when he believed that books and his piano were companions enough. They’ve became quite close in their fifth year, but when they entered their sixth year, hell broke loose.

Hogwarts had been divided by two schools by the Ministry of Magic. Kingston was separated from Lindsey and a strange feeling came over him, a feeling that he had to keep in contact with her no matter what. He had also found out that same year that she had been dating a boy named Tancred Adara. In some way, this annoyed Kingston to no end, deciding that he should bother the boy in every way possible, even if it meant making him get in a very bad mess.

That year, Kingston became Lord Berty Borr’s Leading Lad. It had been the hardest thing he had ever done in his life, which was to endure the grueling farts of the man and his horrific attitude. Kingston was flabbergasted to even do some of the things he’d asked him, but he had planned to ruin Borr so he may see Lindsey again. When they had been reunited, Lindsey ran to Tancred and kissed him, letting Kingston watch them with remorse.

It was then at that moment did Tancred confess his true feelings. His love did not belong to Lindsey, but to a Hufflepuff girl who had been the captain of his house. Kingston watched with curiosity as Tancred then led Lindsey to him, putting his hand into hers. At that moment, he realized he loved Lindsey and that he should have seen it sooner.

His last year at Hogwarts went splendidly well as he and Lindsey began to date. Once the school year was over, Kingston stayed at home for about a year or so until he finally decided what to do with his life. Packing up some of his bags, the man headed into the apartment he had in London and went over to the London Symphony Orchestra where he auditioned as a pianist. Recognizing his musical talents, they immediately took him in and there he began his career as a professional pianist.

Nowadays, Kingston is given a chance to have his own solos as well as play with the orchestra when needed.
